As part of our ongoing efforts to improve access to healthcare in Lamu County, Safari Doctors has opened a Medical Centre in Shela, on Lamu Island. Our vision is to provide holistic healthcare solutions with compassionate, personalised care, while utilising innovation and appropriate technology.

We are focusing on diagnosis and treating conditions in all ages to promote the health and well-being of the local population and visitors, by providing accessible high-quality medical care, with an emphasis on preventive medicine.

• PCR test by booking here

• Lateral flow test for symptomatic testing, walk-in only (no certificate to travel)

• Pharmacy services - dispensing of medicines

• Consultations and physical examinations

• Chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, asthma and other common diseases)

• Laboratory services - rapid tests, full blood count

• Wellness program - screening and testing basic biometrics

• Health promotion - health education on preventive measures and lifestyle changes

• Family planning services
