OUR PARTNERS

Our first steps were taken with founding partner, The Moon Houses. Thanks to their seed-funding, Safari Doctors established its blue print and basic costs were covered, which allowed us to reach remote communities in need of health services. We work closely with the County Government of Lamu Health Ministry, to complement their work and ensure health services are available in remote parts of the County. We then get in touch with MEDS to place our order for the next batch of medicines. We never have to worry about them arriving on time because Air Kenya, our reliable domestic airline, transports them for us at no cost. Onboard our dhow, we’re now confident that we can store perishable items thanks to our solar-powered refrigerator donated by The Village Experience. Honda Kenya generously donated our nurse’s outreach motorbike. When travelling on the road, we are side by side with Northern Rangelands Trust, and now that we’ve joined forces with AISEC we no longer have a shortage of volunteers to assist our team on the ground. We are very excited to have received support from The French Embassy in Kenya who is backing our efforts to engage the youth in remote communities and train them to become our Health Scouts. The Polish Embassy in Kenya is also making this dream come true by funding our very own training facility on Pate island. The Australian High Commission in Nairobi has funded a village community center and medical storage facility. M. Night Shyamalan Foundation is a valued partner that supports our personnel and development. Last but never least, the wonderful Manda Bay is always there to lend a hand when needed.
